A view of the rear of some houses in Bombay Street that back on to the 'peace line'. All the houses in the photograph are protected by wire mesh and metal grills to prevent damage from items thrown over the wall. Bombay Street is on the Catholic side of the peace line. The increasing population in the area means that there is a shortage of land for building hence the houses in the photograph are positioned right next to the wall.
