Introduction

The following provides the DRAFT results from the 18 Northern Ireland constituencies where the 2017 Northern Ireland Assembly Election was contested. Voting in the election was by Proportional Representation (PR) using the Single Transferable Vote (STV) system. There were some boundary changes to constituencies since the 2007 Assembly Election so care needs to be taken with direct comparisons. Each constituency elected 5 MLAs (down from 6 in the 2016 Assembly election), giving a total of 90 seats (down from 108 in the 2016 Assembly election).
