| Description: | A British Army (BA) patrol on the Lecky Road in the Bogside area of Derry. There had been a riot on the street shortly before the photograph was taken. A local man was shot in the face by a 'rubber bullet' (rubber baton round) fired by British soldiers. The man lost an eye as a result of his injuries. |
