I suppose for most of us it is hard to imagine that for the locals it was a day-to-day occurrence to have the barrel of a gun pointing at them near enough every corner they turned. At least they could see it happening; the soldiers that died in Northern Ireland never knew what hit them. (Paul Crispin)  |
